For someone who loves personal freedom, you really don't give much space to this. Let people choose what they want. It's their choice to eat what foods they do.

icarusfall only cares about freedom when it is his. Which is often. He only notices things when it steps on his toes. He's probably more of a control freak than most and neverr stops to consider what other people want.

He's not against anyone's choice/freedom. He's against marketing/lowest-common-denominator products dictating preference towards lower quality.

BUT, razor is right about this, IF it is something Icarus cares about. He has pretty domineering opinions when it is something inside Icarus world.

I think you're over stating the importance of this crap. People will always gravitate to what's cheap and plentiful because it fills a need. But there's plenty of other people looking for good stuff too IMO.
