Me I tend to use Wolf the most, and I am most successful using his powerful throw type wrestling moves. Gotta love those powerbombs!
How bout you?

I use Wolf, of course. No one in VF4 is as Badass as he.
Vanessa all the way. I love the way she looks, her moves, her takedowns, they're all great. My favorite move in the game has be her wall attack/throw, where she slams their face into the wall, kicks them to their knees, and then knees them in the face (and then climbs on top of them and punches as well, I believe).
I should play this more, it's been a while since I've picked it up.
Oh, and Shun rocks the house.
Hmm, that makes me want to whip out VF4. You know, I've had the game for a while now, and I have used Vanessa maybe once. It's time I gave her a shot.Quote:

Only once? Go through her moves list in training, she's got some great stuff. She has a fake-out back-dash which can be cancelled at the beginning (so she simply dashes backwards), in the middle (she dashes back, then forward and stops), or let run course (dash back, forward, and then kick) which is great for messing with rush opponents. There's another nice fake-out kick of hers where she steps forward and kicks the ankle, if that connects it can be linked into a throw where she climbs on top of them and punches them in the face. Her forward dive is a wonderful takedown with good range, she can link a regular high kick into a small axe kick, her spinning leap (I believe you can just press L2 for it) is a decent medium range move (though it can be very obvious). Along with that, her defensive state is very nice, auto-punch capturing, and medium and high counters (no low). I'm not very good with her offensive stance, though, I don't know the moves.
I tend to use Lau the most (Kumite name: "RuleOfLau"; Burgundy should appreciate that if no one else), but saying that I "kicked ass" with him would be a bit of an overstatement.
I don't like Lau. His moves aren't that interesting, and I don't like the way he "flows". He isn't even interesting in a basic sort of way (for instance, the karate girl in DOA3, very underwhelming compared to most of that cast, but still fun to use). Ah well, different strokes for different folks.

Actually, it's "great".
We quote that around the house just cause it's so damned funny. I also enjoy his, "I don't make allowance for old men!" and "It's a matter of course, I'm gonna win!"
God, Lion's such a tool.
Akira and Kage all the way.
