I was going to buy this but the GMG credit doesn't stack with their coupon code, so it's still at 47 dollars.

Too much for a risky game.

I want to get this and play it all weekend but holy shit I just bought a bunch of games.

If you like or have liked South Park at all in your lifetime, there is seriously no risk. It's incredible.

It's sort of like how Smash Brothers is pretty crap

It reminds me of an adventure game in the sense that the gameplay only has to be decent enough to drive the dialog and story. It's more or less an interactive episode where you get to walk around and play some amusing Paper Mario-ish combat.

Does playing this get me anything that watching an extended play on YouTube does not?

Probably not, honestly.

Edit: Actually, unless you watch a 100% playthrough, because there is shit EVERYWHERE. I'd want to do it at my own pace, and direction.

Yeah, the exploration/discovery is pretty satisfying. And the combat is simple but fun. It all feeds into the fanservice perfectly.

But I don't think I've ever wanted to just watch a full playthrough of a game, so I can't really speak to that.
