So... what about the glitches reviewers were talking about? Nobody encountered them here?
I had my game lock up in battle once. It happened when I was using the "mug" ability and since almost every time I use it the game sort of hiccups when it's deciding what I stole.
I was glitch free in my run.
Yeah, same. Not a single glitch. Kind of strange TBH since reviewers were complaining and knocking points for it.
A friend of mine just had his game continually fail to save without notice. Three hours of gameplay into the nether. I'd say you guys were just lucky.
Obsidian hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt.
That's part of the reason I haven't tried this yet. I'm waiting for the bug fixes so I can experience the NEWER bugs.
I had a pretty common tutorial bug where you're supposed to counterattack, but the game doesn't let you. Had to reload a save, and then it was fine.
I ran into some sound bugs, and some issues where the "Hold to continue" button wouldn't work during Jimmy stuttering scenes, which resolved by itself. aside from that I've been gameplay based bug free. Honestly, compared to a lot of high profile releases these days I've had a really smooth experience playing this game. I'm also very happy because the 10 hour completion time was way off base considering I have to be pushing 15 - 17 hours on Hardcore and still have a bunch of sidequests and what is seemingly the last main quest to complete.
This game kicks ass, I'm going to be pretty sad when it's over because there really is no replay value except to see the South Park content again.
