I never knew that there was a direct connection between Kung Fu Master and Street Fighter, but here he is.

He made the original Street Fighter, not SFII. He then went to work at SNK, and many of the ideas he originally had were put into making the original Fatal Fury. So, he says that, to him, that game is what he consideres "Street Fighter II".Quote:

Great read. I had some idea that he worked on KOF '94-'99, but not some others like Neo Turf Masters & Ghost Pilots.
Either Capcom vs. SNK 3 (probably would end up as a cel-shaded SFIV engine game just as SFxT did) or SVC Chaos II (using KOF XIII character sprites) sounds good now.
Fatal Fury 3 deserves more respect than it had gotten when it showed up. There was some moaning over it having a new 3-plane system and fewer characters than FF2, but the 5 new characters are cool- and it gave us Yamazaki & Blue Mary who showed up in KOF'97. Now we need Bob, Hon-Fu, & Franco in KOF XIV if/when that happens. FF3's got the cartoonish stereotypes- and of course, SNK keeps up the Engrish gold with stuff like "What in the name of Moses is Cooperia?". :lol:
