I deleted the post myself, bud. Yr welcome, maybe in the future try not to take this stuff so serious. Wouldn't want Mario's trusty steed developing an ulcer before his time.

You missed a few.
I picked up a Turbo Grafx 16 today, off of ebay, because this 2-D gaming thing has been going great so far. The system came in a bundle with two games called "Keith Courage" and "Pac Land." None of my friends have ever owned a Turbo Grafx 16, and I don't think I've ever seen one in person. lol. So, this should be a completely new experience for me.
Doing some research, it looks like my best bet might be to get a PC Engine Duo, somewhere down the line, because I sure as fuck can't find a Turbo Grafx 16 CD anywhere one ebay....and getting the Japanese system should greatly increase the amount of CD and cart based games I can play...
So, if you guys want, you can start recommending me some good Turbo Grafx and Turbo Duo games now. I've basically been making a massive Amazon wish list to keep tracks of all the recommendations you guys are giving me. So, all the recommendations are very helpful. :)
EDIT - And it appears that the NEO GEO will always be out of the question for me...I did some ebay checking on the game prices for that sytem....and FUCK....it's a shame because I really like fighting games. I just don't like them enough to put me into bankruptcy.
You're right about the Turbo CD, I searched for weeks and lost half a dozen ebay auctions before I found one a few months ago.
I'm flipping through my little business card case that holds hucards... a few recommendations would be the Bonks, Ninja Spirit, Devils Crush, Legendary Axe 1 and 2, China Warrior (terrible game, but I enjoy it once in a while,) Air Zonk, Dragons Curse (a Wonderboy game without the WB title,) R-Type, Vigilante
Down the road when you want moar... yeah, get a Duo-R. With that, and a TG 16 you can play anything but Supergrafx games.
Second Dragon's Curse, great game.
A few others:
New Adventure Island (best in the series)
Neutopia 1 and 2 (decent Zelda clones)
Soldier series
Parasol Stars
Fantasy Zone
Galaga 90
Splatterhouse
And a whole mess of amazing shooters on Duo....
Most of the good NEO-GEO game have been ported over to other systems at this point.
I don't see much reason in getting one.
There are a few ways to get into CMVS. The easiest is to get a one slot off ebay and a cheap supergun. To get an actual consolized unit check out neo-geo.com's forums, there are a few buliders there, and people sell used ones on the forums every couple of weeks.
I'd offer to build one for you, but I've never actually done it before...
