This is what I've been hearing. My friend gave me a copy of X-Men on the Genesis, and said "Good luck! hahahha" It seemed pretty ominous to me. Then, I told him that I picked up the X-Men SNES game, and he said, "yeah, that's hard as hell too." So, it looks like I might be getting my ass handed to me when I try those games out.Quote:

Clone Wars 2 for the Genesis is the only Xmen game I liked. Mutant Apocalypse was just OK.
I was disappointed by Mutant Apocalypse. I thought it would be much better than it was. Clone Wars is still my favorite X-Men game, though I haven't tried Arcade's Revenge yet.
I remember looking at the cover for Arcade's Revenge thinking, "Oh man, look at all these awesome characters to play as!"
Then I could never get past the opening Spider Man levels.
Tom and Jerry was a fun platformer too.
You never saw the Storm swimming stages, or the Wolverine vs. Juggernaut stage, or the Gambit platforming stage, or Cyclops underground! I mean it sucked, don't get me wrong, don't go back and play it, but you didn't even get past the intro stage!Quote:

Arcade's Revenge is hot garbage. Mutant Apocalypse is decent, outside of Gambi's entire torso being like three pixels tall. I preferred the X-Men Genesis games to the SNES one - they made better use of each character although the controls weren't quite as smooth. Arcade's Revenge was just an annoying-ass game. I remember getting to Shocker as Spidey, dying, and just giving up after that. Storm's stages were memorable, but a really shitty use of the character - they all were really, none of them really made you think OMG I'M (insert character name here).Quote:
