There are so many games with random elements and permadeath. If that's all it takes and ManDoom and Geometry Wars and The Binding of Isaac and ADOM are all roguelikes, what is the point of the word, exactly? Using it as a genre label makes sense. Using it to mean "this has one or two things I saw in NetHack" doesn't. Nevermind the very ignorant suggestion that ADOM and NetHack and Rogue are exactly the same thing.
