I like the design, but I absolutely abhor anything that goes between my toes. I have to have full on sandals. I can't do flip flops.
The easiest way to tell if the SP is the brighter one is if the screen is a deep black when turned off. The original models look gray.

What it did, it did well. Definitely enjoyed it. Just grabbed Invention of Lying on BR as well, which I've seen several times but I do wholeheartedly enjoy it, especially the scenes with Louis CK and PSH.
