I'm trying to wrap up my DC library and was wondering if you guys could maybe fill me in on any (decent) shooters (don't care much for that "shmups" term) that may have slipped under my radar, especially imports. My current list is as follows:

Try Twinkle Star Sprites. Fun shooter/puzzle hybrid; best with two people.
I appreciate the reply, but I've been waiting patiently on that one since I heard it was going to use the Naomi arcade hardware and saw some early dev shots maybe two years ago. Had a preorder in since March I believe.
I second the Twinkle Star Sprites recommendation. I actually think that about covers it for Dreamcast shooters, except for a Cotton game that seems to be really rare. Dreamcast doesn't really have a bunch of shooters for it, but I think all of them are at worst decent.
that's right.. Rainbow Cotton it was called.. and it's probably the worst DC shooter, but as you said, that's still pretty decent..Quote:

Twinkle Star Sprites is a great game, but I've heard the DC port isn't fantastic. The Saturn one is quite good.
Other than the ones already mentioned, Rez is the only one that pops to mind.

Can't believe that I forgot to at least mention Rez, but I do in fact own the PS2 version. The DC import with mouse support was mighty tempting, but I just couldn't justify the extra $15-$20 to import it when I'd probably find it too bothersome to dig out my mouse half the time anyway.
I seem to remember the old Cotton games being horizontal 2D, but wasn't Rainbow Cotton (forgot all about this one) in some kind of 3D third person perspective, a little like Space Harrier maybe?
Twinkle Star Sprites sounds kinda cool, but I imagine the DC version is going to be easier to track down than the Saturn one. Any suggestions on where I may be able to order this one? I'll be placing an order at VGD soon but they don't seem to have it in stock and I haven't gotten around to checking anywhere else yet (call me lazy).
