Witcher dev's two 2014/2015 "AAA+" games are simultaneous PC, next-gen console releases

So there is a developer out there that is anti-DRM and anti-lowest common denominator. This game, like its predecessor, is the definition of "day one."

CD Projekt is class. I'm glad they're branching out and doing a bit more. Poland seems to have a surprisingly strong talent pool these days.

I worry about companies targetting next gen consoles right now. It's kind of necessary, but those systems could absolutely disappoint us, not to mention take forever. Word has it this is a big part of what's holding back Beyond Good and Evil 2.

I'm willing to wait. This generation is done. I really don't want to play any more console games until at least the Wii U with the exceptions of finishing the Mass Effect trilogy and playing Sega's stuff: Binary Domain, Yakuzombies, and Anarchy Reigns.

I look forward to getting to try Witcher 2 soon since it's coming to consoles, it seems like it's a pretty excellent game. By the time this comes out I should have a working PC again but if it's also on the next round of consoles...

You aren't playing ME3 on PC?

Nope. Origin exclusive means PS3 used. If EA doesn't want my money, they won't get it.
