well, there was always that pattern with the people he took a liking to - and i think they could somewhat introduce the sadistic romantic stuff he had with Starling and make it work.
To be honest, I caught Red Dragon on BBC America this weekend, and I realized how many damn times i've seen all these Hannibal movies. I really love this series and I'm so happy it's on TV.
Manhunter kicks the *crap* out of Red Dragon, check it out! :D
Ok...that's the one I cannot abide by, I did not like Manhunter at all :/ I actually don't like Red Dragon that much either - I love the story, I love the idea of it, but I'm much more excited about seeing what the TV show does with the story. I've just seen it like 20 times and it has some good moments, but it's one of the few roles I feel like Ed Norton really was not a fit for.
To be fair, I think I just like the super-Miami Vice vibe of Manhunter.
that's a good point!!!
I didn't like what I saw in the first episode of this thing, but The Hunt/Jagten ("Hannibal" plays the lead) was excellent. Very tense film.
It takes a few episodes to get going, but the food photography is *so nice* I didn't mind.
That was a hell of a season.
