Oh man. I have a few ideas about what's going on in this game now. Oh man.
Seems like there are a lot more flags in this game that change the outcome of your other playthroughs. I was disappointed by how simple the original game really was in terms of structure, so that's a pretty cool upgrade. I've already been surprised by some of the results.
Goddamn fucking Amazon. They still haven't sent it. Game came out a week ago. And I pre-ordered more than a month ago. WTF. Now that they charge sales tax in CA there is almost no reason for me to use them over somebody else (save maybe their awesome customer support). /rant
I bought 999 because of this thread. If it sucks, someone is getting cut.
Just be prepared for it to go batshit crazy nutso at the very end.
Picked this up yesterday, and I'm already having a hard time putting it down. It's still amazing to me that I find this series so captivating considering how burned-out I am on excessively wordy JRPGs and even other adventure/visual novel games.
Can't wait to play more.
It's honestly better than I expected, and I expected it to be good.
I've gotten 4 of the endings so far and the story seems to be coming together. Really enjoying this a lot. Also holy shit is it long. I'm already over 20 hours of playtime
