Though that sucks, I feel like its better that way. Darkstalkers just didn't do that well in the states, sorry. It wouldn't sell as well as it 'needs to'. Even though allegedly basing the fate of a new game on DS Resurrection sales was stupid, the conclusion is correct.
Also, the fans would bitch no matter what that the series was ruined, which it probably would have been. No one would have been happy.
Well, I just finally picked up Vampire Savior, so maybe by the time I'll want to play a sequel Capcom will have a new game during the Fighter Revival 2032.
