Amazon dropped alien anthology on BR to $19. Bought it.
$19.99 ≠ $19.00
Sorry, I've been raging over this for years thanks to my tour of duty in retail
I hate that shit. A buddy will text me "hey so and so has this $10 item for $5. Do you want it?" Later he hands me the item with a receipt for $6.50. So almost doubling my money turned into making 33% profit. Then he gets pissy that i get mad.
I always loved the customers who'd yell across the store to their parent/friend/significant other that the game they wanted was $7 then the other person would go to pay for it and be surprised when the $7.99 game rung up for $8.50 after tax and not an even $7.
Every day, i have customers who give me shit that the item marked $7.99 rings up for more than that. Its like theyve managed to evade sales tax their whole life until they walked into my store.
And don't forget, it's you personally who is the asshole raping them on tax and not, you know, the local government that collects it.

Thanks to Chux, my Live 360 pics ended up on kotaku. Kinda cool.
I wanted to see if we could get a little more light on the subject. They still haven't said exactly how yet.
