I wish they would do something completely new and that it has nothing to do with the Jedi.

Maybe something kind of like that Droids cartoon, except written well.

If they can't do that, do something like KOTOR where it is far far away from the movies.

It will do neither. They'll stick with all the predictable, profitable shit.

And add talking animals and songs.

You do realize the the EU consists of well over a hundred novels and then hundreds of comics right? And that's ignoring the video games, role playing games, and TV

There is some really good stuff in there and some really bad stuff, and a whole lot of decent stuff if you're a big fan of the universe.

Yeah, some of it's actually really good. There's the Thrawn trilogy and... uh... KOTOR I guess, if games count?

I thought that it was laid down already that the EU wasn't canon.
