Anyway I just purchased the game for $15 on the Microsoft store today here so get them while they last if you're interested.

For that price I'll definitely buy it, btw I saw the Limited Edition and it's pretty lame. You just get a tin case and a VIP pass with some cars which you can just get as DLC. Anyone still playing this in their rotation or have you just moved on to Halo 4, Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 whatever?

Good call starting this thread, Will. Would have been welcome around launch and is especially welcome now given the incredible Black Friday sales.

I liked the demo quite a bit and am looking forward to playing this. Wanted to play Forza Motorsport 3 and 4 but never pulled the trigger for whatever reason, so this will be my first Forza game.

Thanks man same here, although Forza 4 and Horizon feel so different I'd still recommend getting 4. It's an amazingly good looking game and for someone who hates Gran Turismo and loves Forza 4 that's quite a feat.

I picked it up for $15. Figured even if I hate it, I can still dump it for cost at least.

No porting over of cars unfortunately although interestingly enough that gets mentioned in the IGN interview with the developers here.

I'm really digging this. There are sections of this game that look absolutely amazing (Red Rocks area is a real stunner) which makes the weaker sections look worse (the buildings in towns look slapped together. Terrible textures on flat boxes). The map is gigantic, the day/night cycle is really pretty, the headlights illuminating the road are some of the best I've ever seen. Awesome, rock solid frame rate. I like how it controls, the soundtrack fits well (like it a lot more than NFS: MW) and the HUD is waaaaaaaay better than Most Wanted. It's not a cluttered mess and anything that pops up isn't put in your way and quickly disappears.

Multi is a lot of fun. Some great mode variety, a lot of course selections (Goliath is awesome, 20 mile race through just about every location type on the map). The free roam co-op missions could use some tweaking. If you don't know/haven't found a location they want you to go to, you have to turn to google to do anything. It doesn't plot it for you on the map. Other players need the ability to ping the map besides the host.
