Wow, with all the themes that Japan is so widely known for that's considered too risque or controversial for other regions of the world *cough* like us *cough* - I find it funny that this out of all games is being blocked for retail over there.
Seems so hyprocritical. :confused:
that really sucks cause all of us that aren't in japan know what it's like to miss out on a great game.
I thought it was not being released because they couldn't find a publisher. the entire middle of that article seemed like a waste.
still sad to hear though. but the PC version is being released,so if they want it, its not like they can't get to it.

so it's different than here, where it's pretty well-known that there's a sizeable market for import games..
IMHO, if the japanese don't care enough to look into the matter.. it's all good..

That seems to be the case after all. I think the reason why it's being rejected has less to do with being a violent game, but more likely because it's a "Yongee" (Western Game). Western Games aren't very popular in Japan, but they do have cult-followings among PC gamers. That's probably why they're releasing the PC version, but not the PS2 one.Quote:

I can't decide whether i hate the japanese game market more (generic anime dating/adventure games, general closemindness) or the north american one (Xtreme sports games, homosexual Wrestling crap).
I wonder if there's a group of japanese gamers that get mad when an american game isn't released over there. That would be a pretty funny switch.
