I Made a Game for iOS

Got the update last night, it's definitely a bit smoother now. I did notice with the improved collision that in like 6 games I never had any behind the paddle action happen, but several times the puck would pass right through a truck without changing it's trajectory, more like a bullet than a puck. Not a deal breaker, but it can thrown me off sometimes when I go to move the paddle where I think the ball is going to go but then it just continues in a straight line. Still haven't hit The Next Level yet, he always manages to get one in on me.

Same here. Fun game. I dig the improvement.

Yeah, you know, this is the problem with not having a lot of time right now. I test what I can on the sim and my devices, and then when it goes out ... kaboom.

So, I'm not sure what's causing the truck pass-through. When the math happens to cause the truck to explode, it automatically calculates a new velocity. However, for some reason ... this isn't happening at certain times. I'm going to leave the game open for a while and see if it's a certain trajectory that's causing the problem. For instance, is it when the duck is above vs. below, left vs. right, which would at least give me an indication.

EDIT: Also, nothing was changed within the duck's math in regards to vehicles. Only in regards to the broomsmen, so ... Yeah. That's your inside info.

EDIT 2: I think I may have an idea of what's going on here. It's something with a semi-direct corner-collision. So, add that to the list for 1.04.

And yeah it only seemed to pass through on corner collisons with the trucks, if I recall mostly when it would have been a very narrow hit. Seemed to happen less when playing the Canadian game, too.

The single player game is now available for free because it's been half a year, and nobody is buying it anymore. The free version doesn't have GameCenter, multiplayer or extra modes. It's basically a test to see what happens when you release a free app. And? Well, it gets downloaded a lot more often.

An Android version is currently working, but I don't know why the font hasn't ported over. I may just release it as-is for free on the Android store to try and get some attention.
