Mass. Pulls Violent Arcade Games from Rest Stops
Source: Gamespot
The Massachusetts Dept. of Transportation has taken violent arcade games out of rest stops, including some more moderate ones like Time Crisis and Beach Head 2000. Racing games like H2Overdrive (a trash example of that genre, IMO) are still there however.

OK, my quick 50 cents on the issue. They're not JUST to entertain kids under 13. Removing Mortal Kombat or activating the censor dip on Target: Terror would be somewhat understandable. But TC (rated T as a home game) and BH2k are not that graphic. That's going a little too far. It's up to parents to police what their kids play, not the government. If you're that damn paranoid about it, why not just fill the arcades at rest stops with stuff like Taito puzzle games, Tetris, and DDR?
