It's an unoptimized technological mess, regardless of the quality of the actual game. It's a cross-gen delayed game that probably underwent big changes since November.
I'll pick this up during the Steam summer sale when it's 25 or 30. Funny enough lots of the CONTENT of reviews complain that the game is mostly mediocre in a lot of places but that it's a decent game, but then it gets like an 8.9. The Gametrailers review had some harsh words but then at the end, bam, like a 9?

The thing about Watch Dogs at this point is that, though I want to care, I really don't. I have a feeling this will be Ubi's AssCreed of the new generation. First game was garbage but had promise. Subsequent releases got better.
If this follows suit, by Watchdogs 6 it should be a decent game.
RPS's review is being very helpful in saving me $20 this time next year.

I played for a few hours today on XOne and the game seems alright! My expectations were pretty low after seeing some 7's but it's fun so far. I've had no problems with the controls and driving is just fine. I've seen a lot of complaints about the car handling but I've had no issues. It's no Gta 5 but nothing will ever be. Not a bad first effort for a new IP at all.
OK, silly question, but what are you supposed to do once you get to the apartment and sleep?
