Where does the M rating come from? I'm home alone with my daughter through at least Sunday, as my wife is with her father, who is not doing well. I'd like to start playing this, but it has to be at least somewhat age appropriate.

Ellen Page re-enactment of the male rape scene from Super.
I think it's pretty tame overall. No nudity or sex so far. I don't recall a ton of swearing but it's probably there. Mostly just some tame military violence and lots of people freaking out at your powers. I think you can smoke a joint at one point, whatever. There's one part a few hours in where you go into a science lab alone that's pretty violence though.
Ben Kuchera couldn't even make it through the game before reviewing it and saying how bad it was. That dude has been fucking up a lot lately. Too many kids.
I tried playing with the smartphone app last night.
Don't try playing this with the smartphone app.

But controlling Aiden with that thing is a nightmare.
The level on the train is where I tried the app. Lots of Aiden there.
I liked this game, but there is only maybe 6 hours of "gameplay" here. Even though I want to play more games like these, I couldn't recommend this at $60. I thought Heavy Rain had a lot more replayability.
The Sony rep at work was pushing this game like crazy because I had never even heard of it and I was mocking the fact that it looked like it was trying so hard to be a movie. It was literally like this guy was talking off of a script and trying to convert me to another religion. I doubt I'll ever play it, but I may watch the videos at some point.
