agreed, boring looking murder the brown people game but a really nice tech demo of the next gen hardware (this is next gen isn't it?)
PC is lead platform.. but they don't have to dumb it down for last generation's consoles.. so, yes?

Why would they reveal this with a single player demo, anyway?
I suppose it could build even more hype for the online. I am sure we are pretty much knew we were only going to get single player info from this. Interesting to note is zero info on any of the next gen consoles. Of course no nextbox has even been announced yet, but I was at least hoping to hear confirmation that PS4 would have 64 players online. Guess we wait for E3 or later. Also thought it was interesting that this comes out Oct 13. I know no dates were announced for PS4 but I would figure a Nov release for both next gen consoles like usual. I guess the beta on 360 will have to suffice (it was confirmed if you are a premium member you get the beta)... or build a new PC.Quote:

Joke aside, they're just following their PR plan from before for BF3. BF3 was a lil rushed and under the gun, time-wise though. The 17 minute gameplay was making me groan till the latter half of it. It really does look good. Frostbite is definitely scalable. I don't think its gonna push PCs too hard though. Maybe a new vid card since I'm on a 5 series Geforce.
They are reporting that BF4 is using Frostbite 3 not 2.5
