I dunno. I'd be pretty excited. That's the normal response to the introduction of something new to one's hobby or area of interest.

But then, the impulse to buy every NES game and the guy who submits to it probably aren't normal.

This kind of falls under variant, for now. Awesome variant, but just a variant.
