Chrontendo Volume 1
This is a pretty neat web video series where Dr Sparkle talks you through every Famicom game release in chronological order. It's maybe not the flashiest or the best made video, and the delivery is a little on the dry side but I personally find it not only refreshing but preferable to the extreme retardation of most modern youtube video game shit. I'd even say it's got an NPR feel to it. It's informative, interesting, and goes on forever and ever.
I know we've recently had a boom of interest in old console games so maybe some of you will find something to like here.

Fucking video games, man.

I thought this was about something else...

I clicked on the blog, and he has an awesome post about his kickstarter, so I instantly like this guy.

Player 1 Podcast is doing a similar series with Genesis. Check it out too.

I watched episode 1, and liked it. I thought there would be no way he could keep this going, but then I saw that ep1 was in 2007, and ep46 came out Jan 2013.. And he's gotten about 6 years done, with 6 more to go?
The videos are kind of organized shitty, and his blog is basically just personal. I watched the first half of the most recent ep, and it could have been made the day after ep1. This guy gets respect for consistency and dedication. I doubt I'll ever watch all 6 billion hours of this though.

I watched the first video as well, and I figure I'll keep watching. It's interesting!
And I need something to do after running out of Game Center CX videos.

Just watched the first episode and I can see myself watching the whole series (over the next few years). Glad to hear that over the years he's kept the show pretty similar to this first one.
Mzo was right, this feels like NPR in comparison to most of the "shock jock" type of youtube video game junk out there.
