Pretty much everybody from the first one returns (with the exception of Zachary Levi replacing Josh Dallas as Fandrall, but who cares), joined by Christopher "Ninth Doctor" Eccleston as Malekith the Accursed and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Kurse. Directed by Alan Taylor, who's mainly worked on TV up to now, doing 6 Game of Thrones episodes among a whole bunch of other HBO stuff.

Well, one thing we can say from the trailer, it looks like a real movie this time, now that they've got that mouse money behind them. Hopefully Captain America 2 follows suit.

Looks good. Adebisi vs. Thor = greatest matchup EVER.

Yeah I dig the trailer although I've never had a huge problem with the first Thor film outside of it's smaller scope which can be more attributed to budget.

This looks darker obviously but they've also been saying that this will be more sprawling so I'm looking forward to seeing more of the other realms. Seems like there's more filming/post production work to go so we haven't seen a whole lot here but it does look promising.

Looks awesome. I liked the first one. hell ive enjoyed most of the marvel movies connecting avengers. Im looking forward winter soldier and im hoing Guardians is good.

Looks like a student film that somehow got a really good special effects company.

Given that, it still looks much better than the first film. I actually want to watch this one.

I really liked the first movie. I may be the only one.
