The games play pretty well.
On a technical level, yes, they are responsive.
I gave my copy of the N64 game to a friend after I realized you had to use the analog stick for no good reason, and never asked for it back.
I bought a replacement GC that came with a free copy of Melee, but I traded it in without even opening it, so I really have no opinion of the game.
I'm glad kedawa is here. What would we do without your apathy?
The analog stick is necessary for the execution of the "smash" attacks. DUMMY.
They could have worked just fine with the dpad.
I mean, let's get a "BUT THEY AREN'T FIGHTING GAMES" discussion going.
Finch is right, it's used for smash attacks which is kind of the whole point. Plus analog controls all around.
I don't understand what Mech wants in terms of controls, but ok. I don't find that the games hold my interest for very long, plus I'm not nearly as good at them as a lot of people I know, but I don't see anything actually wrong with the games themselves.
The controls are fine, but the game is pretty boring to play which leads to:It's like playing a shittier version of PowerStone 2. If I was playing a four-player fighting game with friends I would rather play PS2 or Rakugaki Showtime. I will say that Smash Bros. is more interesting than Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style.Quote:

n__n my favorite part about TNL is when people shit up threads when they don't even have interest in the topic. Guess i'll go post in the Grand Theft Auto thread now.
Other boards would ban you for doing such a thing. TNL is one of the few places that allows such freedoms.
I originally was just agreeing with Mzo's statement that the games weren't total trash!
