most important to me: screenplay/writer: Cormac McCarthy
I hope they keep up this trend of barely showing anything until it comes out.
I feel like there are too many L's in the thread title.
This was pretty heavy, man.
Like everything Cormac McCarthy has ever written, it's a meditation on fatalism with a distinctly American rebirth-through-violence theme. But there's something else going on here. I'm not sure what. It has preoccupations with the primal/animalistic cycles of killing, eating, pooping, and fucking, all guiltlessly. When a person capable of guilt is brought into the killeatpoopfuck cycle, things are broken. I need to see it again. And soon.
Also, Cameron Diaz is really bad at her job.
