If you're talking about the one he does at the end that slowly fills the whole platform, I just waited until they appeared and then stood in the spaces while jumping into the air and slashing at him. He killed me once from that because it went on longer than I thought it would and then I caved his face in.
I've unlocked three outfits so far, it's kind of nice being able to switch up the colors as I go on. The enemies aren't getting harder but are needlessly requiring more hits as I go on, so I guess they're trying to pressure me into not fighting stuff? I'm up the insect soldiers and they do nothing but slow me down, I think I'm just going to start skipping them. I find it hilarious that if I get hit by a missile or poison the enemies can juggle me back and forth for like 10 hits and yet I am still at no risk of dying.
It seems like this will be decent for speedruns but they appear to have really locked things down in a hyper linear fashion so I'm not sure it can be broken like Super Metroid or Shadow Complex. Does anyone know if this has a new game+ feature or anything?
It does not.
it doesn't even let you keep costumes, either
e: finished them all (beacon/survivals) except the ones I didn't find, woo~
Because my PC runs some game better, some games worse than consoles (and I apparently don't meet the system requirements for this).
My question is - is this one of those games that gets better the cheaper it is, or feels right at that price? Some reviews I've seen make me nervous (the lack of challenge, very samey mundane gameplay, no compelling reasons to use anything but your starting attacks, can bruteforce through most of the game, etc.).
probably wait for a sale, if linear 2d games aren't your thing you might feel ripped off at 15
