Strider (Everything but Wii-U)

A 7/10 Metroid-like isn't worth $15 to me. I'll check it out during the summer sale or something.

I want to support non-lazy retro revivals (not that WayForward has been lazy). I just wish they revived CPS Strider and not NES Strider.

I'm mysteriously excited for this. I might pick it up and am hoping it'll at least be good for timed runs like Shadow Complex.

I just remembered that Amazon bought Double Helix, so this is probably their last retro revival anyway. At least I hope it is. I don't want some oldie-but-goodie showing up exclusively on an Android console.

I'll get it tonight, hearing the remixed NES/Genesis tunes threw me over the top.

Fuck Edge and Eurogamer. Game looks great. For $15 we should all support this stuff.

Having recently played through all the Striders and found they don't really hold up on top of not paying attention to this I can't explain why I've suddenly gotten so interested in the last few days. I just wish there was some kind of decent pre-order bonus, which would've already pushed me over the edge.

It's because Marvel vs Capcom Strider was the best. Admit it.

It really was.

Osman is the awesome Strider game that everyone remembers Strider as being.
