Do you get anything (besides self satisfaction) for getting all 120 shines? Please don't say what it is.
I have no clue, but there better be something! But self satisfaction would be Ok I guess. But I would like something. I have avoided finding out what you get for 120 so I don't know.

Stupid thing about Mario 64 was that there was a very complicated set of jumps you could do to get to the roof top, except yoshi would do nothing. And why would anyone need all those lives when they just got all 120 Stars?! Better be something better then that.

ah yup, there it goes..just got a couple shines in Noki Bay and now I'm starting to really get into this game. I knew if I perservered it'd happen, this is Mario after all. Very cool level.

Green: I only wish you could keep them on. I've gotten Shines with Yoshi and Shines with glasses, but I have yet to get a Shine with glasses and Yoshi. He looks kind of funny getting Shines with sunglasses...
Is there some kind bonus for pimping the sunglasses? Kinda weird to just dim the screen.
Let's just say that you get less than you did in Mario 64 for getting all the Shines.
I've only found two things, but I'll let you guys see them for yourselves.
