Anyone care to tell me what the Holy Hell I'm supposed to do to defeat the damned firey Chomps in Pianta Villiage? I shoot water at them...pull on their tale...and they go flying. Beyond this I have no idea what to do.
Give them a "bath"... Remember the small pond near the center of the town? ;)

I have 52 shines and no more levels are opening up for me. :( I hope there's more... so far Noki Bay and Sirena Beach are the two newest ones and I completed Noki Bay already... I wanna see those fire chomps!!
See the tall tower with giant Shine (covered with black sludge) in the back of Delphino Plaza? Get up to the top of it to find your next destination... ;)
Ooh, thanks Dorikyasu! I found it weird that no more levels were opening up like the first three with the sludges overtaking certain landmarks and your cleaning it up revealed a new level...
Also, I LOVE how many references there are in this game to earlier Mario games. Something that Mario 64 lacked and made very "un-Mario." They even brought back the amazing tight rope/hanging/swinging move from Donkey Kong (for Game Boy)! And what the heck is up with those short round enemies (and the ones that have wings occasionally). They seem like they're trying to replace the Goombas! And the Electro-Koopas look very "un-Koopa" like, I wonder if Miyamoto will bring back the good ol' Koopa Troopas, Shyguys, and Goombas into a 3D Mario game.
Im on my 119 shine sprite. but for some reason i cant find another blue coin
I actually been exchanging the blue coins alot in the racoon hut the second time i exchanged them i had 193 blue coins. But if im not mistaken my previous exchanging i had 231 but i cant find no more blue coins
Could this mess me up on getting the 120th shine sprite
