But I don't want to play those.
Well, most are them are fairly mediocre. Aeon Avenger was pretty solid though.
1% is for the companies who suck at monetization.
No F2P mobile game is going to win game of the year or have some incredible aesthetics etc. The audience is different and they aren't looking for that. They want a way to pass the time easily. This is an analogy I often use. Think about basketball, lots of people want to be like Jordan. Only .1% can actually play in the NBA. Then you have the people who physically play the sport and the guys who are arm chair athletes in video games. For the vast majority of the world who can't play either way, how can you let them enjoy something similar? By making a simple casual game on mobile.
I don't understand how you guys are even remotely excited about this. The "Mana" series has not had a good game (discounting Sword of Mana since it's a remake) since 1995. That's practically 20 years.
Legend of Mana = shit
Children of Mana = repetitive shit
Dawn of Mana = shit
Heroes of Mana = shit
Plus SquareEnix's history on microtransactions has been HORRIBLE.
people who hate Legend of Mana
are the worst people
THERE I SAID IT
Mana has been pretty bad for a while and SquareEnix are fucking terrible with their use of microtransactions as Astro said. I have no hope for this at all.
repeat: i know it's not going to be good. i know it's not going to be good. i know it's not going to be good
x1000
but... it sure looks good... and it sounds good
better than anything since that hack Dawn of Mana tricked me into thinking that it actually was kind of fun, at least for a while (it actually was)
maybe there's something good inside. maybe... maybe it's not whale bait...
It's gonna smell like Flammie's poop.
Flammie is a baby mana beast so his poop smells like flowers
Dawn of Mana was really good!
