I looked up Best Buy's price adjustment policy. If I go pickup my preorder, I can have it adjusted on Sunday from $48 after GCU to $32 after GCU minus the $10 reward cert. So it would be effectively $22, plus I'd get the preorder DLC. That's pretty hard to beat, since I liked the multi in the beta and still am curious about the single.
edit: For clarity, the preorder is going to auto-cancel on Wednesday, since I haven't picked it up. I didn't actively cancel it out of laziness. +1 for procrastination
Think of it this way. If it dropped $20 two weeks after release, imagine how low it'll go later.
Yeah, but that's a tricky game with the PC version. It's not like BBY is likely to have a stack of retail copies forever. I'd have to wait until Amazon or GameStop or somebody puts the digital version up for $20.
