It will be great if they really let him make it. If they let it be another Fury Road, with a dirty undercity, and a blade runner upper city, and have physical props for all the close ups of robot bodies, etc, it would be amazing.
If they make it like a dozen other current movies, it will be boring to trash.
You ever watch the Battle Angel OVAs? They're not that great.
Cameron's still a good director. I'd probably enjoy it at least for the visuals and flow even if he's just shitting out another pile of cliches for a script.
