It's selling Star Wars.
We're months out from the movie that doesn't even have Darth Vader in it and I'm sick to fuckin' death of Darth Vader on EVERYTHING this summer.
Oh bitch bitch bitch.
That better be the crowd-pleasing-est thing that ever existed.
I wish I could get into Battlefield. I like the huge maps in theory, because as many TNL'ers know I'm a sucker for expansive environments (generally in single player though - in multiplayer you're liable to get killed for enjoying a vista too long).
However, in terms of online FPS, I'm so used to CoD that if I don't see an enemy every 4 or 5 seconds I get bored. I die in CoD a lot and I did get mad for a while, but I'm numb to it at this point. Yes, there are middle school kids who have unlimited time to game, and the latest iteration of CoD happens to be the only game they own. Thus they're Godly in CoD. I'm ok with that. My k/d ratio is shit but I love it anyway.
I don't think the hoth mission is as unbalanced as it appeared but the rebels need to use all the tools to win. Air control is key and they have an edge there. I watched a lot of it on twitch and by the end of beta rebels were winning a lot.
I played the original
Battlefield so fucking much, ditto for battlefront and ditto for the xblive battlefield 1942. If I had the hardware I'd get this but probably not at full price.
