You should talk to someone about you know.
About buying a lot of those amiibos they keep in a fishbowl next to the Slim Jims and bottle openers at the Nintendo World next to the pawn shop.
This is the star fox equivalent to a link between world's. It's amazing that it's even happening and I can't believe everyone hates it.
Apparently Nintendo couldn't get the transforming Arwing Amiibo designed in time, so this has been delayed to 1Q 2016.
I'm ok with that.
They're actually delaying a game to finish it instead of rushing it out for Christmas?
:golfclap:
This game looks to desperately need more time and work, so it's at least good news that they're allowing that instead of rushing it out the door for the holidays. Especially with the Star Wars craze around that time, Star Fox might have benefited from that a bit and helped serve the Wii U userbase with the lack of an actual Star Wars game thanks to Nintendo's third party relations being hot garbage.
Whether or not the delay will ultimately help the game become great, we'll see.
Frankly, I hope they completely scrap the two screens idea. Granted, I haven't tried it for myself, but the more I see of it in footage and what it's doing to the game, the more I think it's a horrible, worthless gimmick (which I put squarely on the shoulders of Miyamoto) that's going to ruin this game. It doesn't even make sense, being so unnecessarily cumbersome to all users and diminishing the gameplay experience, all of which is the antithesis of Nintendo.
It's been said that you can play the game without the dual screens, with twin sticks instead, but the game is being developed with the two screens in mind and we see how it suffers for it. They managed to make the first HD Star Fox game, with Platinum involved in development, look boring and uninspired. Absolutely perplexing.
And to make it worse, who knows when or if we'll see another (HD) Star Fox game after this if this doesn't go well. When the stupid ideas of the person in charge become the fault of the franchise, just as with Metroid. Hopefully they do a great job with Star Fox Zero and create a positive foundation to then build upon, but I'm skeptical.
