Ori and the Blind Forest (PC, 360/One)

This game plays as well as it looks, and it didn't start like shit like The Order and Revelations 2.

I feel that it's just hard enough for your mother to be challenging but not obnoxious.

idk if I'd like this but I want to try a demo

I'd be interested in hearing impressions from someone who isn't very into the recent Rayman games.

My initial hour was far more enjoyable than the recent Rayman games. There aren't collectibles all over the place for one thing.

I loathe Rayman in general and am digging this game.

Played about two hours of it. The game did freeze when I first started (xbox one) but it was smooth afterwards. A very pretty game! Not sure why people are mentioning Rayman as they aren't alike at all though both are great looking 2D affairs.

Two things! No numbers unless you turn them on. I haven't pressed RT to pick up anything, but push/pull ONE block. Drops move towards you when you're near.

I didn't like Rayman at all. This game is really sharp. I thought it was beautiful but a bit boring until just around the time you get the double jump. After that they pump the difficulty up quite a bit. I'm really digging it now.

It's frozen on me twice already when I try to start the game, it's really annoying.

I'll uninstall it and re-install it again to see if that helps.
