Remake Culture

This trend worries me because I hallucinate about a future when there will be no new IPs produced anymore, just remakes of remakes with better and better graphics.

I never worry about that. I'd be ok if they never made another game in fact.

Code Veronica already had an HD release on Xbox 360 and PS3:

After these 0 and 2 remakes come out, 3 will be the only one left that's not on an HD console.

I think we can manage without.

Big difference between a port and a remake. I know in some cases the line can be blurry, but this isn't one of those cases.

Code Veronica needs more than just visual improvements.
The sudden, forced switching between characters causes havoc with resource management.

I didn't find that to be a big problem, but I played it in one sitting when it came out. One character had one set of stuff, one had the other, annnnnd go, good luck.

I'm sure it will be shitty but Bioshock 1 and 2 could actually use some new more detailed textures.
