Do you guys have any idea what the percentage of single income households is in West Baltimore? If the parent goes to work what's gonna keep the kids off the streets?

But in the story Josh posted, SWAT wasn't called in to dismantle a hostage situation where innocent people were already in danger; SWAT created the danger to innocent people. Almost 80% of SWAT deployments are to serve search warrants, which is what they were doing in Josh's story iirc. So 80% of SWAT teams are sent after people only suspected of committing crimes. If there is no difference in the police response to the suspicion that a guy might be selling weed and the police response to Hans Gruber and company taking over the Nakatomi building, then that's on the police.

I don't have the time to search for it right now, sorry Yoshi, but there are some statistics out there showing what kind of calls the police bring their future weapons on and it's pretty disappointing.
