I'm going to have to buy 2 copies of this. My oldest daughter and I played a ton of MonHun 3 together (WiiU and 3DS), and she's looking forward to hunting monsters with dad again.
Question: Are projectile weapons any good in these games? I've always used axes and swords and have never even tried a projectile. Is it worth it?

It's a pretty different style of play, but you should try and see what you think.
Bows are a good place to start, you can practice aiming and getting into good ranges. Once you get into bowguns and HBGs you start having to juggle ammo types and reloads on top of that. Gunning also requires more prep than melee, but that is probably way better with the items sets now.

This game looks so good but I'm hoping the release is late summer because I don't think I'll have time for it in these next few months.

Fuck Capcom for bastardizing their good IP instead of actually making new games for them.

Pretty sure I'd rather have Ghosts N' Goblins MonHun gear and no new Ghosts N' Goblins than no Ghosts N' Goblins at all.
