I used to play. rarely. and I intentionally never studied any attack patterns, so unless I played someone a few times, I'd be outclassed, but usually, after I got a win, I'd have their number.

I used to play quite a bit of chess, just last year I won the local chess tournament. The last game was 6 hours long >_<
Id love to start one up on here, but on yahoo simply because I dont want to have to reg somewhere else.
That's an awesome idea, Rich! I'm all about a TNL Chess clan!
Im up for chess any time. Also, I favor the Knights aswell. Bye bye Bishop, unless not giving up the knight puts me in a compromising position.

I'd rather keep the bishop simply because it can protect an entire line of squares and they are much more valuable during the end game.
I agree. I play chess casually, and wouldn't mind joining.Quote:

Now, to find a place. There's MSN Gaming Zone, and decent amount of places that probably kick the crap outta it.
Well then, you guys have to pick where to join, yahoo, pogo, MSN, games.com [the latter of the 4 suck (MSN and games.com) with the rest being like games.com] And Braxton, we'd preferably all register again making names containing TNL in it. I prefer pogo, seeing as how it's the easiest I know off, but I'm not too familiar with yahoo. Think I should start a new thread just for people to put down what their names will be and nothing else for the sake of knowing who is playing? (of coarse after we decide where)
Pogo sounds good to me.
hmmmm, very nice, you all have AIM =) If I can get most of you on, I'll invite you to a buddy chat this way we can actually have this started a little quicker.
I use to play chess in elementary school..
Now i'm tryin to learn to play GO. I think Go is alot more facisniting than chess, and more tought goes to playing.. Plus it has a larger field, with more possibablitys than ches..
on another note.. a computer has beaten chess player..
but their hasnt been a computer that can beat a Go pro, at Go......
