Anyone Play Chess?

Thought I would revive this old thread instead of starting a new one. What is the current opinion of Chess at TNL

Also anyone know where I can get a good GBA chess game cheap? I really don't want to pay 25 something for chess.

I could never find people to play against with go, so that is the only game of Go I ever played. Shame really.

Chess is pretty cool. Never got into it deeply though.

IronPlant, there's Dexter's Lab Chess Challenge on the GBA, other than that, I can't think of any other GBA chess games. If you'd like to find chess games for all platforms, including the GBA, check out GameFAQs Anyways, I haven't played chess in quite some time, probably over a year and a half by now. I enjoyed it then though, despite losing nearly every time, and look forward to finding someone to play it with.

I only play chess when I am drunk. Probably because my favorite bar has a chess board.

I am really bad at chess, but it is fun to play once in a while. And if you like western chess you should check out the two other major chess variants: Japanese(shogi) and Chinese Chess(xiang qi)

I can't wait for someone to come in and say, "Shogi is so much better than Bakka chess kekekeke ^__________^"

For "Teh Recard" Chess was invented in Persia.

there is supose to be a virtual chess and a chessmaster for the gba to.

Hopefully Yahoo! chess isn't as fucking fixed as Yahoo! pool is. I'd be down for a game of chess some day.

I had Matt teach me when he visited me. I did ok. I'm up for any strategy type games.

Sure, just get me on AIM or MSN and I'll be up for a game sometime. I can always play on Pogo if you don't like Yahoo, too.
