I play, but not often. I wish more people I knew liked to play, my skills are probably shit now due to disuse...
I can't believe a chess thread is on TNL! That f*cking rocks, I LOVE chess and I never get to play. I used to be in a chess club when I was younger, registered with the Chess League thing and attained ranking. I've tried to keep ma skillz up;) and as a result because I beat everyone I know (sometimes random people for $$$), and noone wants to play with me...:( :D. So where and when exactly, is the appointed chess game going to take place? Count me in.

I will brush up on my skills(decrepit though they are) and look for you guys. I used to have a study hall where the teacher let us play chess,I used to slaughter football players, but my one good friend bob murdered every game. And for the earlier question, i am better setting up bishop shots, so i would sacrifice a knight first.
edit: and the old battle chess for the nes used to be a great game. nothing like seeing a rook swallow a Queen whole.
