If I can interupt the self-loathing for a second: EVERYONE plays videogames. It has nothing to do with being a nerd. Everyone's got hobbies, gaming's one of ours. You're a nerd if you have no social skills/ability with chicks, and that's pretty much the definition.
And for the record, I play plenty of games with my football team. Halo goes over well with the macho crowd.
I play plenty of violent stuff too. I'm just making a point.

I love the game and I've had it reserved for quite some time now, but I'm not so blinded to not see that the majority of the gaming population is going to think this is a strictly kids game. Maybe it's Nintendo's fault for the way they market stuff. I think we all know they messed up marketing Sunshine. I've played through that game and trust me there's going to be a lot frustrated little kids pretty soon. Yet the ads give you no reason not to cast it off as being kiddy. I think you guys need to calm down a bit. He just offered his opinion and never attacked it, but you all attacked him.
