If they were to make a good fighting game engine, maybe something fast paced like SC; or Something more complex like VF4's and have it be Tales vs Star Ocean 3; I'd probably at least check it out.

How about if I say thing: I was really digging what I played of Star Ocean 2, but the fact that the graphics and game engine felt a bit antiquated was what make me not really fall for the game.Quote:

Just beat it tonight. I gotta say, the end boss was only marginally difficult if you take advantage of the Orihalcum's insane abilities. (Apparently the "Boots of Prowess" allow for even crazier powering up). Ending is damn long. But I have no problem with that.
Now, on to the hidden dungeons! Gabriel Celeste and Iseria (Ethereal) Queen are back....but...
You guys DO know that Valkyrie and Freya are bonus bosses, right?
Well I liked Star Ocean 2 better than 3.Quote:

How much of the ending is character-specific? For example, in Tales of Symphonia, all the endings were the same except for whoever was waiting for Lloyd at the bottom of the screen after he said goodbye to his adoptive dad.Quote:

Hopefully SMT: Nocturne is more of an actual GAME than a movie with dungeons.
The character specific endings are quite long, as every party member gets one. I'm not quite sure if it's possible for Fayt's party members to end up with each OTHER, but I do know that Fayt has a possible coupling ending with everybody in his party, or Fayt all by his lonesome. The coupling endings actually change both character's ending, not just some lame "waiting for Lloyd at the bottom of the screen" thing.Quote:

I think this was explained a couple pages back. Either way, this game sounds too hot to miss, I was trying to decide whether I should pick this up or SMW and Katamari this evening and I went with the latter. I didnt know it was a 2 disc game until today. That spells hours and hours of fun. :sweat:Quote:
