Why the hell hasn't anyone reaired the original episodes? Christ, what the fuck? I'd kill for reruns of that and Captain N.

Rhinovision owns the rights to the TF Gen1 series, and they ain't selling.
I don't know what Fox and Mainframe are doing with Beast Wars, but they better get off their asses with it!
RID-sucks
BW-The second best
G1-The Best
Armada-fucken "A"
BM-third Best
G2-okay, medium
G2 was basically a rerun of G1 wasn't it? Plus the crappy cube morphing transitions which cut out some scenes. Get the TF Season 1 DVD set, it'll tide your TF crave over for some time. There's mistakes in it though, but it's good to see the original series again. It's not as corny as most 80's cartoons either.
That doesn't mean they can't license. :) If I was Cartoon Network, I would see if I could license the original He-Man, G1 TF, and package it with Thundercats and GI Joe (which they currently have broadcast rights to) on Saturday mornings or Friday Nights (Flashback Friday, or some cheesy catch phrase). Nope. Gen2 was it's own timeline. When I say Gen2, most people think "Rodimus Prime," or "Post-TF the Movie." If you're thinking that, then you're not thinking Gen2. Rodimus Prime and everything after the movie was still in the Gen1 continuum.Quote:

Gen2 was when the history of the Great War was re-written. Megatron was a freaking tank instead of a gun...and several of the Gen1 TFs were given new forms. It totally trashed everything we had come to learn about the TFs from Gen1. And it was utter crap to boot.
I have the boxed set. :D Season 1, ne? Season two is due out within the end of the year from what I understand. Oh! The agony of anticipation!
Excellent idea. But I think Rhynovision thinks it\'ll detract from sales of the boxed sets. Oh, well. At least they aren\'t sitting on it like what Fox/Mainframe are doing.Quote:

And what the holy HELL ever happened to my Silver Hawks at 4:00pm?! Damnit! If they were going to have a \"Flashback Friday,\" I want my Silver Hawks back, damnit!
I remember in the mid-90's when Transformers G1 reaired on TV, but it was labeled Generation 2 when all it had were these fancy 3D transitions between commercial breaks and scenes. I wasn't talking about the Rodimus Prime/post-TF: Movie episodes. I meant on WB (before they called it WB), they showed generation 1 eps but called it generation 2.
Yes, your right, did you guess notice that the vehicle modes of Transformers in Armada didn't change to normal size vehicles when they transformed.
RID was a bad TF show, the only thing good on the shows was the transformations of the transfomers, oh and I also liked Sky-byte to Nemesis.
