Where does it say you have to be a big time shooter fan to enjoy this game?
I am mostly into RPG's but every now and then I pop in a shooter, I have been playing shooters ever since my early days in the arcades and then on Atari 2600, sure I play other things too but even if Ikaruga isn't the greatest shooter ever it is still going to be one of the better ones around and that is good enough for me :D
one of the last good DC games?? That's reason enough for me..
then there's the fact that it's Treasure's 2nd shooter after the insanely sweet RS, and it just looks like it'll kick ass..
i've never had more reason to buy any game, ever.. not exaggerating..
One last final Hurrah for the Dreamcast. I like shooters, should be good fun.
I'll be getting the Gamecube version too, I'm such a sucker. How can I resist the siren call of extra (unspecified) goodies? :)

Uh yeah. I hope all the copies from GC release help to totally devalue it for all the game scalpers. Kind of like Circus Lido for PCE. I laughed when Amazon found a bunch of extra copies of it last year and it went from a dealer value of over $600 down to people trying to GET RID of it for $20 or less. :lol:Quote:

I'm buying it because I really like shooters just like a lot of other people buying the game. There hasn't been a shooter on the dreamcast that's dissapointed me yet and I don't see it happening here.
I had put off the possibility of buying this game, not being a DC owner. And yet when i received a offer through email last night, the temptation overtook me. Its a very good looking game, and while it will probably take 3 years or more to accrue enough in value to become fairly valuable, if it ever does, i decided to take a chance. Thats part of life, sometimes. So i should be the proud owner of two unopened copies of Ikaragu soon. And if the opportunity to check it out on a DC sometimes avails itself, i think i will take a shot at it. Ive always loved shooters!

I'll get the GameCube version, because I like shooters for the most part, and having the first (only?) shooter on GC would be nice. Not to mention buying domestic sends a better signal than importing. Plus I'm too poor to import =p
Ick. Circus Lido should have stayed in book stores. I felt ripped off getting it at retail, for $600 you can get a nice plot of land tainted with heavy metals. *-neoQuote:
