I've seen like a million billion gameplay videos for Ikaruga, but when is someone going to release a video for Mars Matrix? I want to see what really awesome players do in this game. I'm playing this game for an hour or two each day and I'm making very gradual improvements to my score over months and months as I find new ways to get more points than previously. Or, perhaps a better question, any of you top-scorers feeling up to make a capture or whatever it takes?
I've been practicing the game in MAME-emulated arcade form for like an hour a day for about 6 months straight. Just recently I managed to get my ship up to power level 6 on the first stage, and my highest exp on the first level is about 410,000. I think I'm maxed out in that regard. Anyway, last night I had a fluke run and made up to the boss of stage 4. My entry:
