4,705,960 - Stage 3 - 65 Max Chain

Finally passed Stage 2 boss with a good score and without ending my credit. I'm arriving at him with 3.8mil consistently now, I just needed to survive the battle to pass it.

I honestly can't see moving much further up the ladder without mastering stage-long combos and/or some sort of uber-reflexes. Even through stage memorization, I find myself getting smacked by suicide bullets, or one stray enemy will survive my laser attack and dance off the screen, ruining my combo.

Perhaps I should sleep.

haven't had much time to play lately, but i'm getting better at stage 2 and 3. slowly..

well back to chapter 4 on the board for me. actually stayed alive a bit on 4 this time for once. still cant chain too well on chapter 2 and horrible on 3 still. didnt lose a life until the 3 boss and time ran out with like one turret left to take out. gahhh

Japtor, just out of curiousity, if you're doing so poorly on Chapters 2 and 3, where are your points and max chain coming from? Chapter 1?

It looks like I have the exact opposite problem as you, score-wise.

for the most part yeah, i get on average probably around 3.3 mil for chapter 1, chapter 2 is like anywhere from 1.5 mil to a little over 2 mil usually, got 2.7 this last time though. chapter 3 is always abysmal score wise. i havent beaten the boss in a while, best time ive done it is w/around 20 seconds left. most annoying part is that the boss isnt all that hard for me but i just crash 90% of the time.

I always forget about those damn rotating "boxes" in the center (chap 3 boss). I don't know how I manage to keep doing it but I sure do.

Stage 3 Boss, one the speed picks up and the lasers kick in, I can usually topple it from there. But getting to that point is my problem. It's the dodging bullets and boxes shifting places that throw me off.

Brilliantly evil.

broke 7 mil and got to chapter 4, woohoo...and my chain goes down again. i almost had an 80 chain on chapter 2 if i didnt screw up one of the easiest parts of the level. aw crap. just calculated how much i wouldve had if i didnt screw up the chain...over 8 mil
